Jon Huddy, AIA, NCARB, MArch

“Huddy” (as he’s been known since 3rd grade… long story) has focused his entire career on healthcare planning and design. He led the charge to successfully diversify FreemanWhite into a Healthcare Consulting and Design firm in the mid 90s by recruiting healthcare clinical experts, market researchers, data/business analysts, technology futurists and multiple other professionals to focus on strategic, operational and technological challenges in the healthcare industry. Personally, Huddy focuses on Strategic Facility Master Planning, as well as leading FreemanWhite’s Emergency Department Design Team. Huddy authored the book Emergency Department Design: A Practical Guide to Planning for the Future published by the American College of Emergency Physicians. Since earning a Master of Architecture in Health Facility Design from Clemson University in 1987, Huddy has worked with over 250 healthcare organizations nationally and internationally on a wide range of planning and design projects.
