Director of Mechanical Engineering – Charlotte Office

We are seeking a Director of Mechanical Engineering to lead our talented mechanical team in the design of Healthcare and Senior Living facilities working out of our Charlotte office. Candidates must be confident in their experience and have the ability to work in an empowered environment. For this lead position, we require that candidates have proven, relevant experience leading a team of engineering staff and proven, successful project outcomes and client relations. This position is responsible for the overall direction, administration and management of projects and project teams, and for maintaining the project profitability and schedule, ensuring that all quality assurance procedures are followed. Knowledge of regulatory process is required and possessing credibility with regulatory officials is certainly a plus.

A Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical is required along with registration and a minimum of ten years post registration experience. Candidates should have the ability to perform healthcare facility assessments and contribute to master planning and the conceptual design process. As previously mentioned, experience with healthcare projects is required, and candidates with a majority of their experience related to healthcare projects will be considered.
